On May 7, 2025, NeuralPort was featured in the 101st Growth Pitch – Wellness Special, hosted by Fukuoka Growth Next, a leading startup support hub. The event spotlighted innovative companies working at the intersection of health, wellness, and technology. During the session, NeuralPort introduced ZEN EYE Pro, the world’s first gazebased brain fatigue measurement system. Built on the insight that 95% of human decisions are made unconsciously, the system aims to detect hidden mental strain, such as impaired concentration and cognitive overload, that traditional tools often miss. ZEN EYE Pro measures fatigue through a 3minute VR task, analyzing micro eye movements and gaze patterns using proprietary algorithms. Unlike EEGs or MRIs, it requires no large equipment or physical contact, making it ideal for realworld use. The technology is already exploring PoCs in highperformance fields, including professional sports (such as golf, baseball, and soccer), transportation, manufacturing, and even military environments, such as for monitoring fighter pilots. Some companies are using the system like a “brain alcohol tester”, checking mental readiness before returning to highrisk tasks. NeuralPort’s ambitions go further than just visualizing fatigue. The team is working to scientifically reproduce the “Zone” state, a heightened condition of focus and performance often reported by athletes and creators. This is being pursued through ZONEZ, a chairbased neurofeedback system, along with VR meditation and proprietary aroma therapy, which together have shown up to 35% reductions in mental fatigue. The potential of gaze and neurodata also expands into performance analytics, with applications in complex sports like American football and soccer, where blink rate, gaze timing, and visual focus provide insight into decisionmaking quality and training needs. Backed by investors such as Rohto Pharmaceutical and Yamamoto Engineering, and selected for programs like MassChallenge’s Constellation Program in Boston, NeuralPort is accelerating its international expansion.
